Yo, tech fam! 🖐️ Ever felt like hackathons are all about the pitch and the prizes, and less about the actual code? Yeah, us too. That’s why we, at STEM Link, decided to flip the script. We just wrapped up VibeFlow.AI, and let's just say, the AI scene in world will never be the same again.
Enter VibeFlow.AI. This wasn't just another event; it was a high-stakes experiment that went down live in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and the shockwaves are just getting started.
Forget what you know about hackathons. VibeFlow.AI on July 19th 2025 was a whole new level of intense. We handpicked 60 of the most brilliant minds in AI, ML, and experience engineering and threw them into a six-hour, high-pressure, real-world sprint. The mission? To see what really happens when developers and AI collide in a production-like environment. The result? Pure magic. ✨
This was a no-pitch-deck zone. It was all about raw, unfiltered development. We watched as teams experimented with a variety of AI tools and models, testing and tweaking different prompt templates to generate the most efficient and elegant code for the given case study tasks. It was a masterclass in AI-assisted problem-solving, with every commit monitored via GitHub and SonarCloud. We were obsessed with understanding the real synergy and the real friction between human talent and artificial intelligence.
You know it's a big deal when the best in the business show up. Huge shoutout to our amazing sponsors who made this happen: Hypebam, Perplexity, GDG (Google Developer Group), and EN2H.
And the judges? We had a panel of absolute legends from the top tech organizations in Sri Lanka. These are the people shaping the future of tech, and they were right there, in the trenches with us.
