Who We Are

STEM Link is Sri Lanka’s largest technology education bootcamp company. We build some of the most intensive, outcome-driven programs in the country, working directly with industry leaders, engineering executives, and startup founders to train professionals who actually build real products.

But we aren’t just setting standards in education - we are raising the bar for how education brands are built and marketed. We treat education programs like real, living products. We deeply care about raw storytelling. We build real campaigns. We do absolutely zero boring “institute marketing.”

Why This Role Exists

This role exists because we want to take our brand, content, and marketing campaigns to the absolute next level.

You will work directly with the founders with high autonomy, high ownership, and very little corporate friction. You will have real freedom to experiment, build your own creative systems, and show highly visible impact on a fast-growing brand in the tech and education space.

This is a creative-first role. Performance ads and analytical tools come second; deep storytelling, content quality, and sharp creative direction come first.

Core Responsibilities

Layer 1 - Creative & Content Ownership

Content Research & Strategy

  • Rapid Domain Research: Quickly dive deep into modern career and technical domains (bootcamps, tech ecosystems, education models, AI, and professional growth).
  • Product Positioning: Understand how to uniquely position core features and value propositions during high-impact product launch phases.
  • Narrative Formulation: Identify precise angles, emotional narratives, and hooks that cleanly cut through the digital noise.
  • Trend Spotting: Spot content trends early, including shifting video formats, storytelling styles, and changing audience behaviors.

Content Planning & Creation (Hands-On)

  • Rollout Strategies: Create clear content plans and cohesive multi-channel rollout strategies for campaigns and major launches.
  • Calendar Management: Design and maintain comprehensive content calendars across social channels, video pipelines, and active marketing campaigns.
  • Repeatable Frameworks: Build reusable content playbooks (launch playbooks, short-form video layouts, high-converting hook formulas).
  • Copywriting: Personally write elite video scripts, social captions, campaign hooks, launch narratives, and landing page copy.
  • Concept Simplification: Translate complex technical, software engineering, or educational ideas into engaging, highly digestible content.
  • Asset Repurposing: Systematically transform long-form data, key insights, or masterclasses into high-performing short-form pieces.

Creative Direction & Quality Control

  • Visual Direction: Provide crystal-clear visual briefs and direction to graphic designers and video editors.
  • Asset Review: Rigorously review edits, promotional posters, reels, and video elements before publication.
  • Quality Bar: Maintain an incredibly high creative standard, actively pushing back on weak concepts or generic visual assets.
  • Brand Voice: Build, refine, and champion a unified, consistent STEM Link brand voice guide.

Execution Ownership

  • Workflow Coordination: Seamlessly coordinate daily execution workflows with internal and external editors or designers.
  • Publishing Control: Oversee precise posting schedules, distribution, and campaign rollouts to ensure everything goes live on time.
  • End-to-End Delivery: Completely own the pipeline from raw “idea → published asset”.

Layer 2 - Digital Marketing & Funnel Thinking

Campaign Optimization

  • Collaborate with the data and operations team to review past campaign performance data.
  • Analyze what worked versus what didn’t to continuously optimize narratives, hooks, and formats based on concrete performance metrics.

Website & Landing Page Content

  • Shape the messaging architecture, visual structure, and written copy of our landing pages.
  • Analyze and optimize web content to directly improve visitor-to-lead conversion rates.

Funnel Thinking

  • Map content directly to user intent across our marketing funnel: Content → Landing Page → Lead Capture → Program Application.
  • Help design, test, and validate new funnel flows, iterating on CTAs, copy hooks, and user journeys.

What We Care About

We care far more about creative intuition, a passion for storytelling, execution speed, and a proven track record of moving metrics than we do about specific software tools, dashboards, or academic credentials.

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in content marketing, digital marketing, or brand campaigns.
  • Elite copywriting and scriptwriting ability.
  • Exceptional creative thinking and visual direction skills.
  • A comprehensive portfolio showing proven campaign work delivered for real brands.
  • Concrete proof of results (e.g., organic social growth, engagement spikes, direct conversion impacts).

Big Plus If You Have:

  • Prior experience working with EdTech, higher education, or bootcamp brands.
  • Experience positioning products for tech, IT, or developer-focused audiences.
  • A natural ability to simplify advanced technical concepts (like AI, code, or engineering frameworks) into mainstream content.
