We're looking for a passionate Student Advisor/Sales Executive to join our team and help guide the next generation of tech talent.

What You'll Do

  • Be the first point of contact - When someone books a call, you're the person who picks up. No cold calls, no random outreach, just real students who are already interested and need guidance.
  • Understand student needs - Dive into their current skills, career goals, and struggles. Maybe they're stuck in tutorial hell, maybe they're overwhelmed by too many options, you help them figure out the right path.
  • Show them what they're missing - Help them realize why what they're doing isn't working and how our programs can bridge that gap.
  • Own the student journey - From first call to onboarding to retention, you make sure students feel supported throughout their learning experience.
  • Help manage student operations - You'll work closely with the team to track enrollments, follow up with students, and ensure smooth onboarding and engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing & growth team - Your insights from student conversations will help us improve our messaging, refine our programs, and scale our impact.
  • Get in the room with senior industry figures - You'll have opportunities to sit in boardrooms and strategy discussions with tech leaders, learning firsthand what companies look for in top talent.
  • Understand our Priorities - We usually run webinars once a month on Saturdays, and it's important that you dedicate that Saturday to us since it is one of the most critical weekends for the company.

Who You Are

  • If you've worked in a company before and played a role in driving sales and growth, that's a huge plus. You know how to handle conversations that lead to action.
  • You are free from heavy academic or university burdens, so your mind has space to grow with us.
  • Been part of an industry engagement team in IEEE, AIESEC, Mozilla, Rotaract, or similar tech communities? That's a big deal here. If you've worked with sponsors, partnered with companies, or handled outreach for events, you already have the skills we're looking for.
  • You actually care about people, helping someone make a smart career move isn't just a job for you, it's something you enjoy.
  • You're smooth on the phone, not robotic, not pushy, just someone who can have a real conversation that builds trust.
  • You're a natural problem solver, when a student tells you they're stuck, you immediately start figuring out how to get them unstuck.
  • You get the IT field, you understand how software careers work, what skills matter, and why some people struggle to break in. Whether you've studied IT, worked in tech, or are just passionate about it, you know the space well.
  • You own the conversation, not in a forceful way, but with confidence. You can guide a student toward the right decision without them feeling like they're being sold to.
  • You're coachable, we'll train you on how we do things, but you need to take what you learn and apply it like a pro.
  • You're fluent in both Sinhala and English, able to seamlessly communicate and build genuine connections.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role with a flexible work arrangement:

  • Physical office presence required on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for team meetings, collaboration sessions, and in-person training.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays are off days, but you'll be working on Saturdays and Sundays (remotely) to support student inquiries and calls.
  • Occasional events may require additional in-office days, which will be communicated in advance.
  • Webinar day presence once a month on Saturdays is required
  • This position is not limited to a traditional 8-5 schedule, work hours may extend beyond standard business hours in accordance with client requirements.
