Industry-Integrated Program

We've developed this program in collaboration with Surge Robotics, a robotics engineering company in Sri Lanka. Their engineers help shape the curriculum and projects, while bringing real industry experience into the classroom through hands-on workshops and practical training at their robotics facility.

AI that runs inside a machine. It senses the real world, decides what to do and moves to do it, so robots, vehicles and factory systems can work in real places alongside people.

“The ChatGPT moment for physical AI is here.”
Jensen Huang, CEO, NVIDIA · CES keynote, January 2026From manufacturing and warehouses to healthcare and transportation, Physical AI is helping machines perform real-world tasks with greater intelligence and autonomy.

Build the software and electronics layer connecting microcontrollers, sensors, actuators and edge-compute hardware.
Build the perception, control and ROS 2 software that runs real robots, from vision models to motion and safety logic.
Design and integrate mechanical, electronic and software systems into robotic and automated products.

Throughout the program, you'll work on hands-on projects that bring together electronics, programming, AI and robotics, progressing from smaller builds to a complete team-based automation system.

Take a working camera-and-sorting system, improve how it recognises objects, teach it to reject inputs it shouldn't trust, and prove the results on real hardware.

With your team, program a mobile robot to complete a delivery mission reliably: closed-loop motion, obstacle stops and safe handling when communication drops.

Choose a track (inspection and sorting, vision-guided robot arm, or autonomous visual navigation) and build a system where an AI model drives real physical action. Test it, document it and demo it live.
Train robots in realistic virtual worlds using NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo and MuJoCo, then deploy to real hardware.

ARDUINO C+++Seven modules across 32 weeks, each one building on the last. You start by running a working system, then learn what makes it work and take it further, with a checkpoint at every stage.
Weeks 1–8. Start with a working camera-and-sorting system: run it, change how it behaves and test it, then open up its perception pipeline and train a model of your own.
Weeks 9–16. Trace the signals between controller, sensors and motors, write reliable embedded code, then take a mobile robot from route commands to closed-loop control.
Weeks 17–24. Program a desktop robot arm from taught positions to vision-guided picking, then structure robot software with ROS 2 and run the same task in simulation and on hardware.
Weeks 25–32. Compare learned policies with programmed rules, add a safe language interface, then integrate everything into a team capstone that you test, document and demo live.

“The first industry experience I got from zone24x7 wouldn't have been possible without STEM Link”
They helped me a lot in securing my internship as a Full Stack Developer. I'm incredibly grateful to StemLink for all the support and guidance throughout the process.
Jehan FernandoicieosThe programme gave me some much-needed encouragement during a stressful phase in my internship search. The team was really kind and supportive throughout.
Nilni DivyanjalihSenid Mobile SolutionsAn incredible learning experience with clear, methodical teaching. Manupa and Dilshara explained complex topics well, making the MERN stack approachable. Their structured approach and support helped me gain confidence in full-stack development.
